Single amounts use annual compounding and whole years. Monthly savings and required payments use the nominal annual rate divided by 12, with end-of-month deposits by default. The annuity tab also supports beginning-of-month deposits. Existing principal uses that same monthly rate. Zero rates are supported. Savings horizons must represent whole months (for example, 10/12 years entered as 0.8333333333333334).
